Marathon needs a dedicated team that can ban obvious cheating on the spot.
If you watch any streams, you’ll repeatedly see the same people hacking their ass off.
For a game that has a zero tolerance policy against cheating, it feels it isn’t being taken seriously enough.

ARC Raiders PvE players turned "rat" into a meaningless slur for any PvP. It used to mean backstabbing, extract camping, or low-risk scavenging. Now it just means “anyone who shoots me unannounced.” Yet they are the ones trying to force the whole PvPvE game to bend to their PvE-only will. PvPvE Extraction Game, remember? 😂

There are a ton of people who would genuinely love marathon who aren’t playing it. It’s the only FPS MP game that’s grabbed me in many years and offers something actually unique in the space. I hope more people give it a try, it’s a fantastic game

If you're surprised Marathon turned out this well, I'm with ya. This time last year, I had all but written it off after trying that dreadful alpha with the cartoony art, no solo mode, and no prox chat. But Bungie made great changes and clearly knew what it had that other extraction shooters didn't.

@Drewader @marathonaire Who cares about what Bungie was like 14 years ago? I'm talking about present Bungie during Destiny. I'm sure they were pretty profitable when they made a single player game with a splash of multiplayer but after Destiny, they've been operating in the red for a lot of it.
