You are correct. And the premise used is incorrect. A Cycle simply maps the ebb and flow of sentiment over time. Collectively over time human behaviors evolve into group think and repitition. Where people get tripped up is in believing that must equal these massive and very distinct peaks and troughs that we've seen, and then believe these patterns will always exist. But they wont. There are so many factors that then influence the outcome within these cycles.

There are broad market cycles but the idea that the cycles are fixed to a date where you buy and sell on a given month once every 4 years makes no sense Basically this assumes that supply and demand changes don’t impact the market It’s an absurd idea The argument for it is this happened before and “this time is not different” I agree this time is not different in sense that no market operates this way If your belief is the “cycles” is an exact thing you basically believe in determinism An if this was true then every other copy of btc with same cap and halving chart should look the same but they don’t This can make sense thinking iteratively but from first principles doesn’t make sense As a thought exercise - Like if a country like US bought 1m btc 4 months before it’s meant to be the “bottom” you telling me it has to go down to find a low in a given month because “that’s how it is”

@AngelList @usvc_ Hey🔥🔥🔥— thanks for opening this up to everyone, genuinely exciting. One question: is the 2% repurchase fee the only exit cost (waived after 12 months), or is there carried interest at redemption too?

Introducing USVC - a single basket of high-growth venture capital, for everyone. No accreditation required, SEC-registered, and a very low $500 minimum. Includes OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Sierra, Crusoe, Legora, and Vercel. As USVC adds more companies, investors will own a piece of that too. Liquidity typically comes when companies exit, but we’re aiming to let investors redeem up to 5% of the fund every quarter. This isn’t guaranteed, but if we can make it work, you won’t be locked up like in a traditional venture fund. It runs on AngelList, which already supports $125 billion of investor capital. And I’ve joined USVC as the Chairman of its Investment Committee. — Go back to the 1500s, you set sail for the new world to find tons of gold - that was adventure capital. Early-stage technology is the modern version. It says we are going to create something new, and it’s risky. It’s daring. But ordinary people can’t invest until it’s old, until it’s no longer interesting, until everybody has access to it. By the time a stock IPOs, most of the alpha is gone. The adventure is gone. Public market investors are literally last in line. This problem has become farcical in the last decade. Startups are reaching trillion dollar valuations in the private markets while ordinary investors have their noses up to the glass, wondering when they’ll be let in. Investing in private markets isn’t easy. You need feet on the ground. You need judgment built over years. Most people don’t have the patience to wait ten or twenty years for an investment to come to fruition. But there is no more productive, harder-working way to deploy a dollar than in true venture capital. USVC enables you to invest in venture capital in a broad, accessible, professionally-managed way, through a single basket of innovation, focused on high-growth startups, at all stages. It is how you bet on the future of tech: the smartest young people in the world, working insane hours, leveraged to the max, with code, hardware, capital, media, and community. Your dollar doesn’t work harder anywhere. There is an old line - in the future, either you are telling a computer what to do, or a computer is telling you what to do. You don’t want to be on the wrong side of that transaction. USVC lets you buy the future, but you buy it now. Then you wait, and if you are right, you get paid. Get access here: usvc.com

Today, Bitcoin is at $63,000, and almost no one is buying at this price. Some even think they should sell if they still have anything left to sell. Someone from the future might wonder why people in February 2026 were not only hesitant to buy Bitcoin, but even willing to sell it. I’ll tell you why: today’s reason is AI. Many still don’t understand that Bitcoin is a system - they see it only as an asset. This may sound amusing to those in the future, but it isn’t obvious to most people today. It may be clear to elites, but not to ordinary participants. For many, Bitcoin resembles a football match: they celebrate when there’s a “goal” and leave the stadium when there isn’t.

@paoloardoino @giacomozucco Come spesso capita negli ultimi anni, i luminari tipo Giacomo e Paolo, vengono ignorati in patria. Mentre all'estero vengono ascoltati e riconosciuti ovunque. Senza di loro tanti di noi non sarebbero dove sono🙏 🐐🐐

If we take this chart concept back to March of 2009 (which in my view was the start of the current secular bull market), we get the chart below. The S&P 500 is up 9-fold in real terms, and it has crushed every asset on the planet with the exception of Bitcoin and the Mag 7 (which morphed out of the FANGs in 2022 or so).

@UriPelegPoker To the most experienced people who gave you the best answer from a mathematical and GTO perspective, you reply that the villain definitely has AA. So why are you asking? Probably because you folded.

Studying poker is boring. Running sims, staring at charts, building ranges - it's a necessity if you want to get better, but it's not why I fell in love with the game. I love playing, meeting new people, battling others while navigating the rhythm and complexity of the game. But I struggled to stay disciplined with my studying, while still chasing the goal of becoming one of the best. So 4 years ago, I started VCamp. I asked my coach @Amo4sho if he'd be down to do a test an idea - a poker camp that didn't feel like studying. We ran the first one in NY with 8 campers. Fast forward to now - it's become one of the most fulfilling things I do each year. We've built a fully immersive poker retreat: elite coaches, private chefs, and a beautiful mansion where everything is taken care of so we can focus purely on the game. This year, it's bigger than ever with two mansions, four coaches, and just 30 campers. The poker camp I always wished existed... now it does. Applications now open at vcamp.poker. Early bird pricing available for the next ~30 days.

SBF got 25 years without parole - customers are getting paid back in full with interest - FTX US wasn’t insolvent - FTX arguably wasn’t insolvent (liquidity issues) I don’t believe this was outright intentional and malicious fraud. Extremely irresponsible mismanagement driven by sus ideologies like utilitarianism and effective altruism probably. 25 years without parole for being a retard? Idk man
