@TheAFDPodcast Yes, Slash when I started out, but then it became Izzy and stayed that way. His sound and style is... Different, it's really laid back and tight at the same time, he never overplays, great guitar sounds. I think his style/sound is most comparable with Ronnie Wood in the Stones..

I met a guy 40 yrs ago who turned my head when I 1st heard him play guitar. @slash turned heads with his playing in every room we went to after that. 40 yrs later, he interrupts the dark new cycle ...only by playing his f*ckin guitar. Turning heads...Refreshing and so badass.

@tomokostradlin I've dug up and old forum (beenafix.com) chat from 2005 with Jimmy where someone asked him about the '95 GN'R demo 'Down By The Ocean' and he said he remembered that was a JJH track from '93 Trinidad recordings with the word 'Ocean' mentioned in the title or lyrics

The proof of my book came to me today. Now all I have to do is check for errors and wrong information. Check the captions on the pictures. Read it one more time and look for errors then I give it back to my publisher and we start pressing.
