Travelling at 99.99999% of the speed of light a spaceship could cover 22000 light years in just 10 years of proper time. Nothing in known physics forbids this and there's no reason to believe a civilization existing tens of thousands or millions of years couldn't accomplish it.

I did some reading and apparently this is an academically contentious point. There's really no evidence for the necessity of the sea crawl, but sanctuaries insist on it anyways and tell visitors of its necessity for essentially naturalistic reasons.

I know with significantly greater precision. There's actually multiple methods to check. You can, for example, compare the same questions across diff populations (pay some microtaskers to do the same survey and see if the responses differ). You can see to what degree your work replicates compared to studies that try to get a representative sample. And of course you can just look at your extensive demographic data directly to see to what degree your sample deviates from known distributions.

presumably this is downstream of some sort of selection bias cause it's the sort of thing other people have prob actually studied more rigorously than me and iirc there's supposed to be no change of sex with birth order.
