Lifelong grinder @TaggsGolf got thru qualifying for the Senior Open Championship in his first trip to England and with a lot of help from his always supportive wife Brenda: (kind of a long one) Brenda went over with Tag and encouraged him to upgrade to business class so he could stretch out a bit and get some rest. Brenda, to save money, sat in coach. When they got to London Friday there of course was no clubs and no clothes. Not ideal. Air Tag showed it still in Detroit. Tag played a practice round Sat with demo set. Sat Brenda put out a message on Facebook for help and got a message from a pilot who gave them the number to the bag room at Detroit. A guy named Don answered. Brenda explained the situation and Don was amazing. Found the bags and got them on the next flight. Sunday morning Tag and Brenda Ubered an hour to a warehouse where the AirTags showed they were and grabbed them. Monday Tag played well but came to 17 badly needing a birdie. On 17 his playing partner, Glen Day’s ball came to rest directly on Tags coin. Day went first and gave Tag a “timely read”. Tag added he owes Glen a beer. He made the putt and then sweated out the final few groups to earn his spot. Pretty awesome.

@LegacyClothier he lost to Nick Dunlap on the 18th. Edward said the kid is really striping it so look out this week.

@EdLoarTracker I always tried Monday Q ing into Augusta but never made it.

After missing the Monday shooter by 1 the green jackets gave Edward a couple badges for his Top 5. The trifecta had an arm wrestling competition and this was the winner to accompany him around for the day.
