Another @WashingtonPost hit job - I'm sure it has nothing to do with their billionaire owner's financial interest in automating the world to oblivion. How about a newsletter on "underregulating"?

Right, because everyone's net worth is millions like yours. Go walk communities in Kansas and take a look at the kids who go to bed hungry or the elderly who must choose between buying their precription drug or eating. The Out of Touch Caucus continues to gain membership.

The Trump admin’s new OSHA policy limits the ability to hold bosses accountable when they fail to protect workers from heat on the job.
As heat-related illnesses rise, the administration is willfully putting workers at risk to pad corporations' pockets. aflcio.org/press/releases…

AI must work for American workers—not the other way around.
If America is going to lead the world in artificial intelligence, we must also lead in ensuring that progress strengthens—not sidelines—the people who make this country work.
That’s why I called on the Administration, alongside @SenMarkKelly, to adopt a worker-centered AI strategy grounded in transparency, accountability, human oversight, and a meaningful role for the workers whose skill and judgment will determine whether this technology fulfills its promise.
Innovation and worker protection go hand in hand, and I will always fight to ensure our hardworking men and women are protected, empowered, and fully represented in the future they are helping build.

We appreciate the bipartisan support of our AI principles, which will protect our jobs and rights.
There is no worker or industry that AI won’t touch. It’s more critical than ever for our leaders to stand with working people and support AI guardrails.

The Trump admin can’t “Make America Skilled Again” by cutting job training programs like Job Corps and gutting the agencies that enforce workplace safety laws and prevent wage theft.
A 26% cut to @USDOL would be a gut punch to working people.

While surrounded by children waiting for his autograph at the annual White House Easter egg roll, President Trump criticized former President Biden, telling the children that “Biden would use the autopen.”
“He didn’t sign. He was incapable of signing his name so they followed him around with a big machine,” Trump said.

I was there when we replaced expensive, underperforming contractors with up to 400% worker turnover rates and chose to professionalize it in a national governmental org, TSA, staffed with skilled federal workers w/strong @AFGENational representation. We won’t go backwards
