As a developer, efficiency is key for me. If I have to do something twice, that's once too many! I've simplified plugin package deployment to just building the project and blogged the streamlined process for anyone facing the same repetitive challenge. dotnetdust.blogspot.com/2024/07/autoin…

My new favorite way of interacting with the Dataverse API. I am sure there are other ways, but this is what I've been doing lately and come to enjoy the simplicity of it. github.com/devkeydet/data… If you have ideas on how to make it better, share on the repo.

Must watch for #PowerApps ALM folks. 1. Native git integration 2. Copy paste arbitrary YAML to update app 3. Two way 🤯 4. Format changes from XML to YAML 5. AzDO only youtu.be/jH0QE9bQz5U?fe… #MSBuild

powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/pow… Source code for canvas apps right in Power Apps Studio anyone? How about source control integration right from the maker portal?

Huge achievement for the First Light team! Last month, we solved a major engineering challenge in the design of our concept power plant by increasing the 'standoff' – the distance travelled by the projectile to the fusion target – by more than 10 times. firstlightfusion.com/media/first-li…

@CrmKeeper @a33ik I find the serialised PowerFx easier to read because it mostly uses logical names rather than the (changeable, but more maker friendly) display names shown by the monacobased editors. It would be nice if there was a way to switch the monaco editor between the two forms of PowerFx

@a33ik I personally prefer Javascript because it's easier to read. Taking over forms from others trying to find business rules pr field + all other fields with unique logic etc is such a pain :)

Imagine you have PowerFX formulas working on #ModelDriven #Dataverse forms. What will you use it for? My usage is visibility of controls and requirement level of fields. Did I miss anything? Please let me know in a comment. Also hypothetically, would you use it if it's available?

@a33ik Yes (for loads) removing need for JS/TS: 1. Filtering Lookups on forms. 2. Choice (aka OptionSet) filtering 3. Tab/Section/Control visibility 4. Switching form onLoad 5. Opening Custom Pages 6. Calling CustomAPIs/Actions 7. Populating dependent fields when another field changes
