This is the issue with monopolisation and privatisation of a ‘fundamental need and human right’ (UNICEF) @OFWAT please do your job!

@Em4Miller @unitedutilities @Ofwat Hi Emma, I'm having the same issue, I've had a 45.6% increase since my 2024 bill. Absolute joke, allowing them to increase by 36% over 5 years but not looking at the well above inflation increases prior to this decision. @Ofwat care to get involved?

@unitedutilities OFWAT allows 36% increase from 2025-2030 & so UU increase 27.5% from March to May in 2025 & a further 14% this year! @Ofwat

@unitedutilities Hi Adam, I will DM you but with all due respect I don’t need to know why you couldn’t explain this to me, I want a justification for the bill increase of exactly 41% over 2 years.

Update… he was sent home after spending approx 20 hours in a wheelchair attached to oxygen in a side room with 4 other people, x-ray confirmed pneumonia, including blood clots, there were no beds so nurse will visit for 3 consecutive days yet to arrive…at least he slept at last

@AndyBurnhamGM my 87 year old mum just waited for a bus for one hour in Bury to be told by a driver that he wasn’t going anywhere just moving it - no drivers available. She had to get another bus then a taxi home. No way to treat our elderly. She is now at home exhausted!
