@unitedutilities apparently prices are due to rice by 9% in the north west... Any particular reason my bill is 15% higher than last year???

@stuuttley @unitedutilities Yeah, since 2024 my bill increase is 45.6%. The argument for nationalising water just seems to write itself. Fuming.

@Em4Miller @unitedutilities @Ofwat Hi Emma, I'm having the same issue, I've had a 45.6% increase since my 2024 bill. Absolute joke, allowing them to increase by 36% over 5 years but not looking at the well above inflation increases prior to this decision. @Ofwat care to get involved?

@unitedutilities OFWAT allows 36% increase from 2025-2030 & so UU increase 27.5% from March to May in 2025 & a further 14% this year! @Ofwat

@McDonaldsUK you having a laugh? Halfing the size of the big tasty presumably so you can charge more for a "double" big tasty which probably equates to just as much as standard big tasty ever did. Think you need to rename it to a "tasty" there's nothing big about it.

@OctopusEnergy I've just received the revised energy rates in an email from yourselves but it only contains information relating to gas. I'm on an octopus go tariff for electricity. I hope we benefit from the cap as we didn't last time. When will I receive revised rates? Thanks.

@OctopusEnergy just wondering how the new price cap will affect existing Octopus Go customers from the 1st of June. Last time nothing changed, hopefully we'll see some benefit to peak rates this time?

@Tesco since the card readers got updated the contactless for phones is awful. I couldn't pay with my phone and had to use my card. I'm on android, someone behind me using an iphone had the same issue, but had no alternative so you lost a sale. The old readers were so much better

@EE hi, the network seems to have been down for almost two weeks in Burnley now, which, considering looming price rises is ironic. What's being done about it? People can't hear me on calls and you can forget Internet access. Is everybody in the bb11 area getting a discount?

@McDonaldsUK just received a mcdelivery. Fries are missing. Phoned to explain and was told its nothing to do with mcdonald's, they can't do anything it's down to uber. I ordered through your app, you packaged the delivery incorrectly, and now I can't find where to go for a refund

@YodelOnline how do I actually speak to a person? Your web chat isn't working, your automated phone service is atrocious, my parcel is now 24 hours late with no sign of it being delivered any time soon, and no correspondence as to why or when to expect delivery.

@MartinSLewis Hi Martin, we fixed last month on to an EV tariff. I have now been told that "because our average is lower than the cap, our fix remains unchanged" so my 04:30-00:30 is 39.5p and my 00:30-04:30 is 7p. My bill has more than doubled and we haven't put the heating on yet. 🤦‍♂️ Ta Liz.

@afivegantenna @hoffasaurusx Just to really spoil your day, we actually have the remnants of a third eyelid called the plica semilunaris (the pink thing in the corner) it's a vestigial remnant. It used to blink sideways across the eye... Much like the frog.

@MartinSLewis Thanks Martin! I've recently renewed my EV tariff, how does this new price guarantee affect this? I get a fixed standing charge and then two fixed rates dependent on time of day. Will the peak rate get the price guarantee? Or is an EV tariff different?
