What does this post have to do with everyday Pioneers? The Core Team seems too technical to resonate with the expectations of everyday Pioneers. After six years, Pioneers are still waiting for the Open Network. We are already three weeks into Q1, and there has been no announcement of the exact date for the Open Network launch.
All DApps in the ecosystem remain unapproved, and the only approved DApp, Map of Pi, has reverted its status from a purple checkmark to amber. Will the Core Team be able to review and approve 100 DApps in the next eight weeks? There are rumors suggesting that Q1 might not be enough to complete all the required work, leading to further delays for the Open Network.
If the Core Team is serious about the project, they should take the time to address the grievances of Pioneers and ensure the Open Network is launched as soon as possible to prevent the project from falling apart. While Pi Pioneers are waiting patiently with no guarantee of success, other cryptocurrencies—even newly created meme coins—are making waves. @PiCoreTeam

Pioneers, we’ve reached over 18 million KYC’d and over 8 million Mainnet migrated Pioneers! Thanks to recent major speed upgrades, KYC applications and Mainnet migrations are processed faster than ever, i.e. nearly 200,000 Pioneers migrated in the last day. This means Open Network can launch as soon as possible in Q1 2025 while reducing the gap between KYC’ed and Mainnet migrated Pioneers for inclusivity and ecosystem stability at Open Network.

Many prominent community figures and credibly neutral organizations are invited to join as guarantors. The Matter Labs Pledge: 1. Matter Labs will not file any new trademark applications for ZK. Matter Labs will not appeal any applications if they are rejected. Matter Labs will never enforce any of the ZK trademarks it owns now or in the future except for defensive purposes (i.e. preventing others from suing us). 2. Fee markets for provers competing to generate ZKPs differ from transaction fee mechanisms such as EIP-1559. This paper covers incentive alignment for users and provers in a decentralized setting and considers the possibilities of off-chain agreements and Sybil attacks.
