ONE MAN CRUSHES COUNCIL IN POTHOLE WAR USING FORGOTTEN LAW! Retired 68-year-old Derek Bennett took on lazy Hertfordshire County Council after they ignored dangerous potholes ruining roads in Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead. Using obscure Section 56 of the Highways Act 1980, he served legal notices, then dragged them to court when they failed to act. Judge at St Albans Crown Court ordered the council to fix THREE major roads within 20 days and awarded Bennett £1,650 costs. “If everyone did this, we’d have lovely roads within six months,” he said. @SudoBash2 @EnemyAI2 Microsoft definitely went much harder on security after the 360 era. Lasting more than a decade without a full jailbreak shows how much they changed the design.

The “unhackable” Xbox One just got hacked. After 13 years. A researcher demonstrated the first full jailbreak for the original 2013 Xbox One at RE//verse 2026. The exploit targets the boot ROM itself. Which means: • hardware level exploit • completely unpatchable • Microsoft cannot fix it with updates The attack uses voltage glitching during boot to bypass a critical security check in the Platform Security Processor. Right now it's extremely impractical. Success rate is about 1 in a million attempts. Meaning a single console can take days of automated glitch attempts before it finally works. But if it triggers, you gain full early boot code execution. That allows things like: • dumping encryption keys • decrypting games and firmware • NAND backups • possible custom firmware • repairing consoles with dead drives • long term game preservation Important: This only affects the original 2013 Xbox One (the launch “fat” model). @Techjunkie_Aman I disagree, the modding community is what draws people to the consoles. Some even buy 2; one for online, one for modding. But you raise some fair points, but we're not talking about a launch window here. It's been out for ever and did poor throughout.

@EnemyAI2 Hacking rarely affects console sales. The Xbox One struggled mainly because of the launch strategy in 2013. Always-online requirements, Kinect bundle, and the $499 price gave Sony an easy win that generation.

Just for clarification.

Mathematicians have already proved evolution is bollox. I don't know who the creator was but it wasn't random chance. This has also been debunked in every possible way, from "The Cambrian explosion" to actual code in DNA. And that's if you overlook life coming from non life, for which there is no scientific basis to theorise.
