It happened so suddenly and quickly. I had just come home, I was so excited to see Baloo and cuddle with him, like I do every day. He was my best friend, my little baby. I found him lying on his bed, crying loudly for help. I didn’t know what happened. I first thought he had fallen off the table and hurt his legs. I didn’t know what to do. I wasn’t used to seeing him in pain. Immense pain. I immediately took him to the hospital, hoping that he would jump and play like he used to before. Little did I know he was dying. He had a heart problem, something I had no clue about before. He maybe tried to convey a message to me that I didn’t notice before, or he didn’t want me to know that his health was deteriorating, or that he was in pain. I don’t know. I don’t know... I first met Baloo at the rescue. Back then, I wasn’t entirely for the idea of adopting an adult cat or a cat from the shelter. Baloo wasn't like the other cats at the rescue. He was separated from them in his own room because he was afraid of them. He was so innocent and afraid. According to the shelter I brought him from, he was moved from one shelter to another, and before that, he had an irresponsible owner, who likely traumatized him. I was so lucky the shelter personnel picked Baloo for me. They picked the perfect friend for me. A friend whom I will never forget and always miss. How could anyone abandon an adorable, pure-hearted, cuddly and healthy cat like him? I asked myself that question over time. He had no aggression issues, and the only time he caused a "mess" was when he was very scared. He was so innocent. So adorable. I will always miss coming home, tired but excited to see him. I will always miss giving him infinite kisses and brushing his fluffy hair. I will miss him jumping on my lap to cuddle and sleeping there. I will miss him sleeping in my arms every night and waking me up every morning. I will miss his warmth, his cuteness. I will miss playing with him, feeding him. I will never forget what he taught me. To be kind and care for others. To always be there for someone you love and to show your love unconditionally. He taught me to become a better person. He will always have a special place in my heart. I want to write so much more. But the more I think of it the sadder I get. Life is sometimes shorter than you first anticipate. Baloo had just turned 8 years, and I adopted him when he was six and a half, barely had him for two years before he passed away. I used to think that I would have him with me when I graduated from uni. I was so excited to study and do my best, for him and me, so that once I got a well-paying job, I would spend even more and spoil him as much as I could. Because whenever he is happy, so am I. At the animal hospital, there were no viable options in saving his life, and I had to agree to euthanize him to stop his pain. I would have paid any amount to keep him alive and well but when the only alternative was for him to suffer pain and slow death, I couldn't let this continue. Please forgive me for anything I did wrong. I wish I could do more for you. I wish I could have done anything to help you live a longer life. I am so devastated. You passed away so young. I love you Baloo. I will always love you.❤️ Yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever. You will always be my favorite cat, my best friend, my soulmate. My everything❤️ Rest in peace, my soulmate🕊️❤️ I love you Baloo, I love you.❤️ I love you Baloo❤️

Exactly - he's laying the groundwork with his artificially generated war that just so happens to benefit #ruZZia

Let me be precise about what is happening here. Trump keeps saying “NATO wasn’t there when we needed them.” He says it like a grievance. He will keep saying it. Expect it at every rally between now and 2028. Understand what he is actually doing. He is not venting. He is building a case. Because he knows what Russia is planning for the Baltic states, and he is pre-loading the public argument for why Article 5 does not apply when that moment arrives. “We asked, they refused.” That is the exit ramp. Simple. Memorable. Wrong, but effective. Article 5 covers armed attacks against members in Europe or North America. It was never designed to cover offensive wars the United States chooses to launch in the Middle East. Article 6 makes this explicit. The Americans insisted on that language in 1949 precisely so they could not be dragged into Europe’s colonial wars. Trump is now furious at a clause his predecessors wrote. He called allies cowards. He told the United Kingdom to “build up some delayed courage.” He threatened France after Paris refused airspace for weapons bound for Israel. None of this is anger. It is choreography. NATO allies had no legal or treaty obligation to join this war. The United States was not the victim of an attack. It was the instigator. What Trump is calling betrayal is allies reading the actual document. Now to the harder question: can NATO hold without Washington? Yes. European members have every incentive to maintain the alliance, even in radically different form. Germany’s chief of defence has already ordered the military to be fully equipped by 2029, when Russian forces may have reconstituted sufficiently to test the eastern flank. That clock is running regardless of what happens in Washington. European leaders have been forced to confront the need for a security architecture that can stand without the American pillar. That conversation was theoretical eighteen months ago. Iran made it operational. The alliance survived the Suez crisis, when the United States humiliated Britain and France. It will survive this. Dutch weapons manufacturer Destinus has successfully demonstrated its new cruise missile, the Ruta Block 2. It is made to be cheap, effective, and easy to mass produce in Europe. Version 1 has already been successfully used in Ukraine.

🚨 NBC News confirms for the first time: the Iranian Air Force bombed US military bases in the opening phase of the war. This was not just missiles and drones. This was the Iranian Air Force. Conducting airstrikes on American bases. And we’re only finding out now. What else haven’t they told us?

Ricapitolando.
