A thread on living 3 years full-time in my Tesla Model X, and it’s still going The last months or so has been incredible, and for the first time in quite sometime, I feel like I have arrived. Being on the road for almost 3 years now, we have covered soooooo much ground in North America. I think as a traveller with a car as a full-time home, it’s easy to keep on moving and ‘discover’ the next place.👇

Came back from lunch with an AC charging unavailable error. My 2024 AWD Tesla cybertruck was plugged into a Tesla wall connector and charging had stopped. I tried a different AC charger but it still would not charge. Moved over to a supercharger and it still would not charge. Truck is now giving me two different errors saying AC charging unavailable with error pcs2_a094 and pcs2_a095. Google tells me this means the PCS has failed and needs to be replaced. That's insane to me because my VIN is 052693.

Loving the first rev of my “Fake Door Closers.” They let the car sleep in Low Power Mode with the doors open. Used to lose ~0.2 miles of ideal range every time I opened a door, more if I left them open. Now the car sleeps all day and night. STL files will be free for 3D printing when I get home.

@dtweetsss1 @CafeElectric A bite more roadnoise but I don’t really notice it anymore. Ride quality, rarely feel bumps and I lower the pressure on trials

The daily solar harvest far outpaces my cooking needs. Every day or two, when the battery bank hits 100%, I drain half of it into the Tesla - gaining 4 miles of range. Very little, but nice when parked in the remote desert for a week.

First time seeing this error in My Model X… ‘Out of roaming area, Data will be re-enabled after entering roaming area’ Interesting, so Belugita knows she’s in Argentina with no connectivity. I also didn’t activate my premium connectivity because I can’t use it anyways and Starlink just gives me unlimited wifi anyways! It did work in Chile! First week in Argentina….Paltas (Avocados) bag for $3.62, beautiful lake side camping, and cute outlets…..really loving it here already! What questions do you have for us?

@drivethrudew South America has a mix of influences which you notice right away trying to charge your phone
