‘Off the leash’ always sounds great… right up until the points start hurting. 😅 If Kimi Antonelli keeps leading, Mercedes won’t have the luxury of freedom for long and they’ll have to pick a side. Do they back the rookie fairytale, or trust George Russell to deliver when it really counts? 🍿

@F1 Cadillac slashed their average gap to Mercedes in Japan to 2.75s (from 3.9s in Australia)—a massive 1.15s improvement! 💪 Still plenty of work ahead, but those Miami upgrades should help close it further. Do you think they’ll deliver? And will they score points this season? 🏎️🔥

📊 WDC Standings after Japan: 1️⃣ Antonelli (Mercedes) – 72 pts 2️⃣ Russell (Mercedes) – 63 pts 3️⃣ Leclerc (Ferrari) – 49 pts 4️⃣ Hamilton (Ferrari) – 41 pts 5️⃣ Norris (McLaren) – 25 pts Mercedes 1-2 seems locked. 🚨 First milestone for Aston Martin this season — Japan marks the first Grand Prix where they actually saw the chequered flag 🟢 But the reality check? They were still around 3 seconds off Mercedes on race pace… a mountain to climb. Progress or just a small step? 🤔 #F1 #JapaneseGP #AstonMartin #Mercedes #F1Twitter #F1News #Motorsport

🚨 According to Motorsport Italy, Ferrari, Honda, and Audi are likely to be cleared for ADUO engine upgrades to help close the performance gap to Mercedes. Meanwhile, there’s uncertainty over whether RBPT will receive the same allowance, as Red Bull’s engine output has proven to be more competitive than initially anticipated. #F1 #Formula1 #F1Twitter #F1News #Ferrari #Mercedes #RedBull #AudiF1 #HondaF1 #Motorsport #F1Updates #GrandPrix #Racing #F1Rumours

Formula 1 has outlined these proposals ahead of next week’s meeting, aiming to address the problems observed during the opening three races, following growing frustration voiced by both fans and drivers over the current state of racing: •Allow full freedom in using active aerodynamics. •Streamline regulations to give drivers greater control. •Boost the power of super clipping (from 250kW to 350kW). •Cut the maximum energy recharge per lap to 6MJ. •Increase the ICE/MGU-K ratio (from 2027 onward). •Lower overall energy consumption of the cars.
