@aiiygatorz It's really okay for people to hate on Marathon. It's a far inferior product slopped out and marketed as the next big thing. It wasn't. It isn't. Utterly disasterous. The Bungie player base has spoken loudly. Destiny is what they want.

I think people gotta realise Sony/Bungie made decisions on Destiny based on its own performance, which had been on a downward trend for a while. A game being poorly managed is the fault of the people running it into the ground, and the separate IP doesn't affect bad decisions.

I think it’s safe to say Bungie made the wrong decision doubling down on marathon. The destiny community showed up 10+ years later and completely eclipsed marathon a new game that’s currently free to play with drops and a new season. Can’t say I seen this coming but I think Bungie needs to continue to support destiny and somehow find a way to get a sequel rolling asap!

It’s Tuesday and 2pm on the east coast which is definitely a time when most people are at “work” and definitely not the “weekend” (looking at you Marathon bros) and Destiny 2 (most console played game) currently has a over 130k players on Steam while Bungie and Sony’s golden boy Marathon is sitting around 10k…. Bungie and Sony with the biggest fumble in gaming history. #WeWantDestiny3

The only regret I have about this industry is joining when I was super skinny. Because now that I’ve gained about 30+ lbs I feel nobody sees me the same way 🥲 I am a WOMAN and I now have more curves and rolls and that is ok.

It's a very easy business decision. It's about profitability futures here. Marathon has no future, it's a failed experiment.

When a game fails that hard and is losing that much money, you gotta just cut the dead weight. Not rocket science
