COVID learning gaps? Maybe.
But my 5th grade daughter can cook herself 3 meals a day, responsibly logs in remotely for her education, and has technology skills beyond anything I can comprehend. These are life skills that the past year created.

My kid loves the song “Victory Song” from “A League of Their Own” sang to her while being rocked to sleep. Why my brain took me to that song when thinking of a lullaby...??? 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ But now I can’t stop! “We are the members of the All-American League...” on repeat in my brain!

You know how I know I have the most amazing job?? It’s the kids. An absolutely kind and thoughtful student I had last semester made this for my little man!! I’m so lucky to work with some phenomenal students! Grant is a fan! 😍💙
