Just looked at my WC draft, does not seem as bad as it suggested here on X. The key is not to have full 15 DGWers because the alternative of DGW in 36 only gives you 6 DGWers (which you may noy fully utilise either depending on Palace result in Europe). Stay away from X and DYOR

To me WC 32 is still appealing. You dont have to get 15 DGW players because the alternative is DGW36 which you'll probably only have 6 DGWers. Look at your team and decide what's best!

Arsenal not doubling is good for FPL scene. Otherwise, too many similar teams on WC will be no fun!

Ever heard of an #FPL term called "Point Chasing"? A player hauled in GW20, you don't own him, you immediately rush to get him in, due to fear of missing out his future points, despite knowing you won't get his GW20 points back. And because of how the term is framed negatively, many managers swing the other way. They refuse to at all consider any player who did well last GW. Because they don’t want to look like a “casual”. They want to feel part of the “elite” who don’t chase past points. That mindset is a TRAP. Point chasing can be one of the most misunderstood concept. It is not buying a player who hauled last GW. That's too general. It’s only point chasing if you do it blindly, if the only thing you considered was points. The correct approach isn’t avoid recent haulers "at all cost". It’s filter recent haulers properly. Example: GW20 high scorers Thiaw, Collins, Hugo Bueno, Rice, McGinn, Ayari, Janelt, Thiago, Mane. Now split them into two groups Group 1: Sustainable picks - consistent FPL returns in the past - secure mins - good fixtures - multiple routes to points Rice, Thiaw, Collins, Thiago. Buying Group 1 players is not point chasing. They were good options before GW20. They’ll remain good options after it. Rice didn’t suddenly become good because he hauled. He’s been good all season...goals, assists, set pieces, Defcon, mins. Thiaw and Collins didn’t turn into traps just because they returned, their upcoming fixtures are still good. Group 2: Blind point chasing - likely one-off hauls - low ceiling - plays for struggling teams - position doesn't favour returns Bueno, McGinn, Ayari, Janelt, Mane (unless used purely as an enabler). Principles matter in FPL. They’re what separate good managers from casuals. But when your principles stop you from even considering good options, they became cage. #FPLCommunity
