@HVanHarper @salahudeen33 That’s what I mentioned earlier about worshipping the Creator, not the Creation. Only when given permission from our Creator does Muhammad PBUH have any power. You will find many Hadith where he mentions his life is in Allahs hands. No man has power, except it has been God given.

Muslims say they "respect and Jesus," yet they don't understand why Jesus is a Messiah in the first place. They don't understand salvation because the word isn't anywhere in the Qur’an. Salvation is replaced with submission, works and rituals. To be a Muslim, one needs to call all ancient prophets liars and their prophesies false. One needs to call ancient scriptures lies or "corrupt" and all new archeological finds that confirm Biblical scriptures false. Muhammad wanted to be greater and be praised more than Jesus on the Day of Resurrection. The Hadiths are clear. "I will ask for my Lord's permission, and it will be given....." Muhammad wished.

@HVanHarper @salahudeen33 You miss the point. How many Christians sin worldwide ? Millions, maybe even billions. No religion is exempt. Theoretical fantasy is all great, but why do so many Christian’s still sin then? You are disregarding human nature. We are all flawed; reducing margin for errors is wise.

For the Christian, this is nonsense. ALL sin is bad! I'll give you an example that ties into the theme of the original post. Yesterday I was pruning my grape vines. I found disease on my branches and leaves. Some were more affected than others. Guess what I had to do? I had to cut off and remove the ENTRE branch growing from the vine, because it would taint the entire flavor of the juice, resulting in horrible wine. ALL sin separates us from a Holy God, even a tiny little bit! This is why Jesus's job is so important. He is the cure to restore healthy branches and a healthy vine. This is why Christians follow his words and example.

"Isn't prohibition more effective?" That's a question that politicians love to wrestle with isn't it? The answer has to do with a relationship. I raise my teenagers with rules, but they will ONLY follow them if they trust and love me. If I force submission, that is a sure recipe for rebellion. The same is with God. God gave us rules to follow, but they are built on relationship, not on slavery or submission. God gave Moses 10 commandments. But BEFORE God gave these rules, he reminded the Israelites, I am One, and remember "I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery". In other words, stop being a slave to sin! God has rules built on a RELATIONSHIP!
