Today!

When I walked across the stage to receive Degree in Journalism and Media Studies from @VUKampala. It was more than a celebration of academic achievement but it was the fulfillment of a dream built on persistence, passion and purpose.

4. Any intervention that solely, purely and exclusively focuses on helping one sex - be it men or women - is bound to create a few more challenges, some of which will have generational, far-reaching effects. So, help us, God.

Let's please realize the NEED to seriously invest in a BOY CHILD. If a #BoyChild remains neglected, the #GirlChild will have it rough dealing with disempowering males all around her: dad, brother, marriage suitor /hubby, male workmates, male workers, male politicians, etc. Arise!

3. It is in the best interest of every girl and woman that boys and men are offered a new lease of life. There is a reason God, in His wisdom, created us to live together --- men and women.

2. We better rethink our gender conversations if we really love the girl /woman. Otherwise, these are the dads, brothers, uncles, sons, husbands, boy friends, male workmates, male bosses that the empowered girl or woman is going to deal with every day whether she wants it or not.

1. This video partly demonstrates how equipped the boy child is today. That is what decades and decades of systemic, communal, governmental, and even religious neglect of the boy child has produced....

Tomorrow, our Provincial President - Mr. @SamuelBakutana - will speak to mothers at Church of the Resurrection Bugolobi in Kampala, about our silent needs that we rarely say yet deeply feel. May God use him. We equally desire to learn better the needs of our wives and meet them.

May we all develop the HEART of a father.
