in contrast to this though. the generational opinion plummet of gen 4 also needs to be studied. i remember around 2019 it was like "this is my childhood game, it's peak, sinnoh remake WHEN" and now people say it was never that good and that it was awful even before the remakes😭

the generational opinion flip on gen 7 over the years needs to be studied bc i remember 10 years ago everyone thought it was weird and different and bad and ugly and the anime was too kid friendly but now going back to them as an adult they're just genuinely peak pokemon

@constarlations I thought it was implied that he did, when you go to Opelucid everyone talks about how some guy with a legendary dragon was just there. Maybe he rushed over and wiped out all the gyms right after awakening it?

@ruggyscruggy the one take about Sinnoh I cant agree with is its dex, I love how it gave a bunch of older pokemon new evos/pre-evos (their actual availability in game is kinda shit tho)

but sometimes they're wrong and it's really funny, you can tell they REALLY wanted people to like shauna, but nobody gaf

@Peko_girlboss I haven’t played XY so correct me if I’m wrong, but I think the main reason for this is that XY prioritized the new mechanic and gameplay over story/characters, because Megas are ultra popular but every XY character (besides Serena) are really unpopular,

So I didn't realize his 90% dodge was for the whole turn, I thought it was just for a single attack
That means with PHY UI's support, he goes from 100% dodge, to 100% dodge, to 87% dodge
And he's actually doing pretty good damage
I can see him as high as 6...

@Curtnott @2014Pachirisu Hence the ‘optimal’ play is to grind massively under levelled Pokemon. You can either grind level 5 Pokemon for hours brainlessly spamming A, or you can just candy them for the same results in vastly less time, and enjoy the actual battles.
