@seawitchofedtwt I worked there. No NDA.
They're just made with massive proportions of butter, sugar, and just are very large. The chocolate chip cookie was 5.5oz of dough.
I think whatever you make any cookie recipe that size, it's going to have massive amounts of calories.

@KnowingBetterYT Have you considered
Playing the trombone?
It's pretty neat.
English

@GASpriggs You should recreate this except it's you acting as 4 pundits arguing about the portrait.
Make it a fever dream.
English

@Tantacrul Honestly?
It did nothing for me. I didn't care for it, I didn't cringe.
A lot of AI generated music does that to me - I legitimately don't have any reaction to it.
English

Those not yet convinced about the power of AI as a force for creative liberation, please:
1. Go to this site: generateandcreate.ai
2. Scroll down and listen to the first 22 seconds of 'Our Song'.
Then tell me your reaction:

@MusicOfLee And I think there's this subconscious idea that I need to innovate, even if my conscious mind is very much aware that I don't have to do that. I wonder if that dissonance is felt as stifled creativity?
English

@MusicOfLee I've noticed that the more theory I know and the wider my radar is for composers and types of music, the less capable I am of actually writing music. I feel like I have gotten deeper and deeper in a block which is part of the reason why I'm a performer now.

@praisecharts
With the finale announcement today, I can't help but wonder how you guys will handle the situation going forward. Currently you all are the only reason I use finale (primarily a Sibelius user). Will praisecharts move over to Dorico eventually?

@Komaniecki_R I am ND, and have found tons of ways to play with my kids that are enjoyable to us both.
Even when it's something that's fun for them, but not for me, I am easily able to overlook that because I know it's good for them.

@musophrenic @JoannaKarselis @thegamebrass Oh hi!
@February33Jazz is a fantastic horn player, as do several others in our group!
English

@JoannaKarselis Hello! I am a remote recording horn player with lots of experience in a wide variety of styles.

@errorexella My desktop stays off most of the time, since it's a workhorse computer I use when I need power. So there's no point to leave it on when the next time I'm going to use it is 2 weeks from now.
My laptop I turn off every other day or so, and I use that one every day.

@alexjackhughes @Hugo71890282 @Will_of_Kent @SwannMarcus89 Meanwhile, a trip to another state can be done for the cost of the airfare to either Mexico or Canada. That's a vacation I can actually afford. A lot of Americans are in a similar place. Many of us just make the best of places in the US we can afford to go to.
English

@alexjackhughes @Hugo71890282 @Will_of_Kent @SwannMarcus89 I have traveled to Mexico a few times, but rarely ever for pleasure. I could only go because the trip was funded by my employer.
A trip to Canada would be something I would have to save up for months to do, and if something comes up that I have to pay for, it's gone.

@ethanhein Should you learn how to want to internalize it? Yes. Is this an effective way to teach that? I'm not so sure.
As a way to teach students who largely have never transcribed before? I think it's an awful place to start since they're basically guessing.
English

@ethanhein When I'm transcribing a Masato Honda solo, I can really quickly memorize what it sounds like because I really want to internalize the vocabulary and ideas so I can understand them.
With aural skills assignments, it's notably harder to do this.
