@theWellRedMage FFVII was the first Final Fantasy I played. But the first RPG I played I don’t even think I realized it was an RPG. It was Battletech: The Crescent Hawk’s Inception. I also played LoZ II Adventures of Link around the same time if you count that one.

Based on comments here, seems like most folk in my circles are older and got their start on RPGs before FFVII, however a smaller percentage of folk did start here!

@theWellRedMage I’d love a remastered version of Legend of Dragoon or a revisit of the Ape Escape series. They probably saw how much people loved seeing legacy Sony stuff in Astro Bot.

@theWellRedMage First I’d welcome the time-traveller and/or cave person to the 21st Century. Then I’d recommend for the newer entries New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. I’d also suggest they check out Super Mario Bros. All-Stars on the Switch Online SNES catalog.

@theWellRedMage I’d really love a new turn-based Final Fantasy. I don’t see it happening, because Square-Enix seems so vehemently opposed to it. There’s a demand for it, they’d be stupid not to capitalize on it, but that’s never stopped Sqenix before.

@JoshStrifeHayes I loved the video. Easy difficulty is there for a reason, and I definitely used it on my first play through. I was disappointed you missed out on the DLC. Warden’s Keep, Return to Ostagar, and Shale all have main story content that’s very useful in the game.
