1/2. The Embassy of Finland hosted a dialogue on strengthening civil society partnerships in Namibia. The event also featured presentations from Fund for Local Cooperation partners selected for the 2026–2027 funding round. 💬 Key insights from the discussion 👇

2/3. Civil society plays a crucial role in reaching communities and vulnerable populations and should be recognized as a key partner in achieving shared development goals. 🌍 One message was clear: ➡️ Working in silos will not deliver the impact needed — cooperation is key.

Engaging with civil society and learning about their work at the community level is an important part of the Embassy’s work. Our Ambassador and Coordinator met with Equal Namibia, a youth‑led organisation advocating for the rights of sexual and gender minorities in the country.
