Thank you for your clear stance in this issue and for the clarity that some Notherners do call out these terrorists. However, many influential northerners especially those in politics hardly make make strong statements condemning these acts. It’s on record that a well known politician from the north stated that Boko haram are the freedom fighters of the north and should not be killed by Nigerian military. We also have popular religious leaders from the north like sheikh Gumi defending theses terrorists. Such acts are the reasons why most people from the south thinks that’s they are supported and protected by the same people they kill on daily basis. In the last 15 years how many times has northerners protested for these soulless killings? I know that there are thousands of good people in the north however the most the fact that we don’t see strong condemnations makes it seems like it’s pampered. There’s absolutely no religion in Nigeria that calls out their people publicly for evil and criminality including politicians like the South Easterners.
