@Svpolarfox @RavelMonte Wizardmon comes from the Magical Witches V-pet. It'd be easy to suggest the tamagotchi realm, Tamagotchi-Sei, is a digital world in the way Witchelny is.

@RavelMonte Well, Digimon are automatically all Tamagotchis, just like Piedmon and Vamdemon. But why they separated this, I don't understand. The digital world, the Digimon species, live like Tamagotchiks, only autonomously. And then it turns out... This bun is not a digimon.

Although some people say Nanimon was banished from the Tamagotchi dimension from making the Tamagotchi Planet drunk, there's no source for that. The only material that theorizes how Nanimon got into the Digimon World says he maybe just got drunk one day and lost his way home.

@RavelMonte Ah, then yes, I agree with this. I always thought the "thousand arms" were a metaphor, anyhow.

@Firestone_Forge Instead of saying there's no connection, my comment is more about how some want to interpret as Arceus itself having no actual power. I also feel like they often want to show a more physical/"real" depiction of creation, while the actual creation text implies a cognitive origin.

The many theories about Arceus' "thousand arms" all seem to be completely unaware of the times in which it has been explained that "Thousand Arms" is the name of the ring surrounding Arceus' body, which was explained in the Hoppa movie novelization and Pokémon Quest.

@RavelMonte Both aspects could be true, as well. They have a canonical relationship in the games and its easy to see it as similar to how Carbink and Diancie are connected. Consider his ring may unify his will with Unown, who seem small but foundational to reality, like atoms.

The usual idea goes into trying to say it represents something outside Arceus, like the Unown, and somehow explain its power and how it could have "created the world", when the intent behind the character was always to be the transcendental god who is all and beyond the all.

Internet fucked me up why do I dig clown girls now

@ratBandrew @digimon_games Its a bit misleading. My experience tells me talent accumulates like secret exp, and you only obtain it after evolutions. So you can build it up for a while, but you must evolve to increase the number. It very reliably did so for me by going back and forth a few times.

@Firestone_Forge @digimon_games Grinded battles for like two hours yesterday and it didn’t change at all. Currently have them in the farm since it says that can also increase their talent. If that doesn’t work, my last resort is the de-digivolving and then digivolving again.
