The Blitz changed our city It took the lives of many Coventrians and today I’m thinking of them and their families. However, I’m also reflecting on our city’s reaction and how Coventrians embraced peace when it would’ve been so easy to hate.

Honoured to represent the Lord Lieutenant & lay the wreath on behalf of @WMLieutenancy at the Coventry memorial service. Thousands of people attended to pay their respects & the whole community was represented in a beautiful service “We will remember them”
