@toddlibby Several ways to comprehend or access the success criteria of the WCAG would be usefull. For example depending on which is your role. A designer will care about different things than a developer. And make it more visual.

Web A11Y learnings: 😢 the WCAG can't address the needs of all people with disabilities 👵 it helps older people with changing abilities due to ageing and improves usability for everyone 📈 WCAG 2.1 adds on 2.0 for users with cognitive and learning dis, low vision, and on mobile.

If you try: const name = user.name.firstName As either user object or name property does not exists, it throws an error. Previously, to achieve the same, people were writing: const name = user && user.name && user.name.firstName

Today, I learned (#js) ?. operator Used to go deep inside an object we are not sure the object or some of its properties exist. const name = user?.name?.firstName This would check if user and then name property exist. In case something goes wrong it returns undefined.
