Loved putting this edit together in such a short time. Proud of my team on this one — big thanks to @PaddyHalliday for the collab.

@PaddyHalliday @LEC That's some sick stuff man!! The shot of Caps on the burning wall of the LEC Studio reminds me of the theatre scene in Inglourious Basterds! You guys crushed it with this one! 👊

Really proud of this one. Wrote and directed this for @LEC. Wouldn’t have been possible without an amazing team behind me. Credits below.

1 year ago I recruited my cutest co-worker, he’s been a blessing in difficult moments and made me learn a lot in the past 12 months. He taught me more about patience, presence and unconditional love than any productivity book ever could. He reminds me daily that it’s okay to step away from the screen, that a good walk can fix more problems than another hour of staring at the timeline and that the best therapy sometimes just has four paws and a wagging tail. Who adopted who? Still not sure. But one thing is clear: best hiring decision I’ve ever made. 😄🙏🏼

My first @TheEmmys nomination. Working on ALGS Y4 Champs was an absolute privilege, a proper pinch me moment. Huge congratulations to the whole production team and thank you @PlayApexEsports trusting my slightly unhinged creative ideas, I miss you dearly 🤍✨

@ZypZapCommunity What really helps me personally is for example to disable the music and dig deeper into the structure/pacing. Often I feel like it’s just small things that need a little bit of rearrangement to really elevate the cut to the next level and to make it work!

@FlowmoFlo The deadline crunch is real. What's your go-to when you're stuck on a cut that's just not working?

As a video editor, you often sit in front of the timeline for hours while deadlines are crushing you. Stress comes with the job – but it doesn’t have to destroy you. Here are my 3 battle-tested hacks to handle pressure and still stay productive: 1/5

Hack 3: 2-Minute Mind Reset (Empty the Cache) Close your eyes and try to clear your mind completely – no thoughts about the edit, no deadlines, just silence. It takes practice, but once you get it right, the stress relief is massive. Many other creatives and esports pros swear by this quick mental reset. 4/5

Hack 2: Micro-Breaks with a real reset Don’t just scroll for 5 minutes – actually stand up, do 20 push-ups or take a short walk. Movement kills stress hormones and gives you way better creativity afterward. I do a real 10-minute break after every 50-minute block → more output, way less burnout. 3/5

Hack 1: The 4-7-8 Breathing Method Before any frustration builds up and you lose focus: Inhale for 4 seconds → hold for 7 → exhale for 8. It drops your cortisol level almost instantly. Many pros use this between maps or right before loading into the game. Works just as well for freelance deadlines. 2/5

My biggest mindset shift through 4+ years of video editing in esports: Stop editing for just trying to be flashy. Always start with the emotion & story. Every great video that will stick with the audience isn't built around cool transitions or nice looking effects — those are just tools that can add to this goal. It's built around the emotional journey of the player/team in that moment. How I do it now: 1. Look through the material to spot emotional peaks: the deep breath before a 1vX clutch, the frustration after a loss, the raw celebration after a comeback, the tension inside a team when being close to either winning or losing. It’s all about the stakes. 2. Map those emotions first: tension → release, doubt → triumph, focus → explosion. 3. Structure the edit around that arc: build silence/tension before the peak, let natural audio breathe during the emotion, then hit the release with precise timing and high energy. This creates great contrast and draws the viewer into the moment even more. Build up and payoff -> the key for high emotional impact. When you edit for emotion, retention skyrockets and viewers actually feel the moment — not just observe it. The result? Videos that hit different and the viewers will remember — even if the raw stats are the same. To my fellow editors & creators: Do you also actively hunt for emotional beats in your footage before cutting, or do you have a different approach? What's your process for capturing that human side? I’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts in the comments!👇

Excited to be a part of this project, it’s going to be a great challenge to build this project over spring and summer! Just to clarify, I am not leaving the broadcast, I am going for the same system as I had with LR last year and also TH in LEC Versus. I will still call Fnatic out for running it down and I will still praise our good european teams when they do deserve it. Crucify me if I’m biased 🫡
FNATIC@FNATIC

We've seen what he can do on the top lane - now he's here to support all of them: welcome @Odoamne as our newest @LEC Assistant Coach! We're thrilled to have Andrei onboard - the work's already begun, spring split awaits!

Four to five years ago, I was contacted by Nick Janssen @NickJan59967490 What started as a simple conversation turned into hours of storytelling, where I shared our experiences from the COD4 Promod era in detail. We talked about what the scene was like back then. The drive. The competitiveness. The community. And the rivalries that shaped us, especially the matches between me and Stevy, which became a defining part of that period. Nick had followed the scene for years and carried a clear vision: to document the stories behind the matches. Not just the highlights, but the people, the emotions, and the mindset behind the performances. Now, that vision has become reality. On March 12, the movie “One More Game” will be released. In the film, I share my perspective from my time as a professional player. It also features frags and match footage from my competitive career, moments that were once intense battles, and today stand as part of esports history. It’s special to see an era that meant so much to so many people around the world captured and told in this way. It’s truly amazing. #COD4 #Promod #COD4Promod #Esports #FPS #OneMoreGame #EsportsHistory
