@Foester @ev_australia Unfortunately when they do it is cataclysmic. Why don’t you ask a professional firefighter what they about the dangers of EVs and other lithium batteries? Rather than downplay this, why don’t you look for a solution.

Unpopular opinion: The biggest barrier to EV adoption in Australia isn't cost, range, or charging. It's that no one in their life owns one yet. Once you test drive..... it's over! You're buying one within few weeks/months! EV ownership is contagious. Change my mind. 👇

@ev_australia @nicpud1 Jaecoo J5 is not connected to Sim card or WiFi and currently is the best value for dollar, range anxiety only exists if your doing more than 200kms a day. EMF - if you're phone hasn't given you tumour already a car isn't going to do it

@nicpud1 Range anxiety - it’s actually not there once you own one. EMF - Check my other post. In short, it’s not an issue. Connectivity - cannot help with that.

@_A_khalifa I don't think you've thought far enough down the line to understand the full implications of trying to send Iran back to the stone age and what would happen. Attempting that would basically screw the world economy that's why Trump TACO'd and Iran still has a toll on Hormuz.

TO KEEP IT SIMPLE: Trump said: Open the Strait of Hormuz, or I’ll send Iran back to the Stone Age. Iran not only agreed to reopen it, but also accepted a temporary ceasefire after spending weeks refusing any truce & demanding the war end completely. Now they’re trying to sugarcoat everything & paint it in a nicer light for their people and supporters. That’s their business. The facts are straightforward: Trump demanded it, set a clear deadline with a serious threat & Iran folded. Simple as that!

Wondering why Trump posted these insane war crime threats? For Iran to accept to end the war soon, they need to believe he is willing to destroy them Otherwise they have no incentive to accept a ceasefire, they are printing money by controling the Strait Trump is doing what he needs to try to get out of a war he never wanted, a war that was meant to last days, not weeks The only queestion is: Will Iran fall for his bulff?

When Trump pussies out tonight, his message will go something like this: "I am pleased to announce that Iran has agreed to save the lives of its great and wonderful people and make a deal! Therefore, I am postponing the Total and Complete Devastation of their bridges and nuclear powerplants for one week. There is still a chance for Iran to become a respected country, the likes of which the world has never seen, if they do the right thing. We have already won this war, Totally and Completely. Do the right thing! Thank you for your attention to this matter!" What do you think? Did I miss anything? 😏

It’s all people with TDS that use “TACO” (Trump always chickens out) as a pejorative. Have you ever heard of bluffing? Trump has used bluffs his entire career. But ya never know what’s credible with him when he threatens something or insists on something in deal making… because sometimes he will indeed go further than people are expecting him to. So if he’s bluffing, and doesn’t follow through with the threat, that’s not chickening out. Because he knew he wouldn’t carry out the threat from the beginning… he just doesn’t want anyone else to know for sure how far he’ll take things. That’s what bluffing means. For him to “chicken out” he would have to: 1. Have intent to do something, genuinely 2. Not do that thing due to fear or concern that arises But if he always knew he wasn’t going to do the thing, then he was just bluffing, not chickening out. And now you know how words work. All that to say I find it unlikely Trump will destroy all bridges and all power plants in Iran. But that fact that everyone in the U.S. on the left and the right is taking Trump’s threat seriously shows that he has cultivated the uncertainty around him that he sought to. He’s happy to look like a mad man to observers so that his opponents will be more likely to capitulate.

🚨🇮🇱🇮🇷 Bridges across Iran are being hit hard right now, a day after Trump’s threats "Images posted online show damage to a highway bridge between the northwestern Iranian cities of Hashtroud and Tabriz, following apparent Israeli strikes. Another strike on a rail bridge in the central Iranian city of Kashan killed two people, according to Iranian media.” - Times of Israel Kashan, Mashhad, Hashtroud, Tabriz and Zanjan. These are just some of the locations we know bridges have been targeted in the past several hours. Kharg Island has also again been targeted today, while Trump warned just a bit ago on social media "A Whole Civilization Will Die Tonight.” I don’t use the term war crimes lightly, but Trump’s rhetoric is starting to scare me. And the Israelis seem ready and willing to carry his orders out. Let’s hope Trump’s rhetoric is his way of negotiating. Source: AP, NYT, @manniefabian

@FrankWCE1992 @AlboMP Yeah but the fine print is if you cancel after the first month you have to pay the entire year but you lose 11 months of access to the software. So essentially they steal your money. It wouldn't be so bad if they continued your access but they want to lock you in.

I have 2 Adobe subscriptions. It literally tells you when you sign up that you get it for cheaper if you sign up for a 12 or 24 month plan and if you cancel early you have to pay the full amount. Only an idiot doesn’t know this when they sign up. What next? 24 months on a fridge at Harvey Norman and you change your mind after 3 months and decide you don’t want to pay for the fridge anymore? Is Airbus Albo going to get us out of that as well?
