This guy has been leaching off the public payroll since 2005, SC House (with a convenient break to run for Congress, then back in), then Congress since 2017. Nearly two decades of “service,” and he’s still out there preaching term limits and “clean up Columbia” like he’s some outsider savior. Hypocrite much? You’ve been the establishment, Norman. You’re the swamp. Look at his “greatest hits” in office: 💩2018 gun stunt: Pulls a loaded .38-caliber handgun out of his pocket during a meeting with Moms Demand Action constituents, slaps it on the table for 5-10 minutes while lecturing them that “guns aren’t the problem, people are.” Women felt intimidated and unsafe. Democrats called for felony charges. Real statesmanlike behavior from a guy who wants to run the whole state. 💩Same year, Kavanaugh “joke”: At a debate, he smirks and says, “Did y’all hear the latest from the Kavanaugh hearings? Ruth Bader Ginsburg came out that she was groped by Abraham Lincoln.” Mocking sexual assault allegations on stage. Classy. South Carolina deserves better than this juvenile garbage. 💩Silfab Solar disaster: Pushed hard for that Canadian solar plant in Fort Mill (he co-chairs the Congressional Solar Caucus, after all). Ignored zoning red flags, toxic chemicals (silane gas) next to schools, and community outrage. Hosted a town hall where residents left furious. Then chemical spills happen, twice in 2026, schools cancel classes, and he’s scrambling with “requests for EPA audits” while locals accuse him of pressuring council for tax breaks and protecting developer buddies. Great job looking out for York County families, Congressman. 💩2020 election meltdown: Texted Mark Meadows pushing “Marshall Law” (yes, misspelled) to stop Biden’s inauguration. Voted to toss Arizona and Pennsylvania’s electors. Still peddling the Big Lie while collecting a fat federal paycheck. This is the judgment you want running South Carolina’s executive branch? 💩Other lowlights: Higher-than-average missed votes in Congress. Fined for ditching his mask on the House floor during COVID, then caught the virus anyway. Railed against Biden’s student loan forgiveness while quietly getting his own $300k+ PPP loan wiped clean. Classic. Now this career grifter wants to be governor? After nine years in DC as a Freedom Caucus obstructionist who couldn’t “drain the swamp” or fix roads, bridges, or anything else for South Carolina? He’ll just import the same partisan chaos, election denial theater, and tone-deaf stunts to Columbia. We don’t need another 73-year-old legislator who thinks intimidation tactics and bad jokes qualify him to lead. South Carolina deserves real results, not Ralph Norman’s greatest hits of hypocrisy and embarrassment. Voters need to fire him! Vote against this career politician in the primary.
