If you're wondering why the handle is @ForgeMyPC while the account says ForgeDev: this account started for ForgeMyPC. ForgeDev is the broader direction behind it, and ForgeMyPC is still one part of what I'm building.
I don't think frontier AI should be shaped mainly by incentives that answer to capital before human interests.
I can't promise a complete answer today. I can promise full commitment, honest work, real listening, and a direction I want to prove with real work, not just rhetoric.

@FIAMES_flames @ReMangled Quick last follow-up in case you're still looking on the dev side. If helpful, I can help scope the fastest playable prototype first so you know what to build now versus what can wait until the core loop feels good.

@ReMangled Looking for a developer or artist to work on an upcoming asymmetrical game… where could I contact you?
English

@didicoding Quick follow-up in case the app is still stuck. If helpful, I can help narrow down whether the break is auth state, frontend events, or the API flow so you know what actually needs fixing before another rebuild.

@clive_staples99 Yeah, that’s the part that matters. If the security model only really works on one platform, then “runs anywhere” is only partly true. The code moves, but the trust model doesn’t really move with it.
English

EmDash is MIT licensed and runs anywhere, but the plugin sandboxing that makes it worth using only works on Cloudflare. Open source wrapper around a vendor lock-in. If everyone uses cloudflare for both DNS and hosting, there is no more internet, just cloudflare.
Dane Knecht 🦭@dok2001
Announcing: EmDash, the WordPress spiritual successor built for the modern web. TypeScript. Serverless. MIT licensed. x402 for agent-era monetization. MCP server built in. Deploy to Cloudflare or anywhere Node.js runs. Imports your existing WordPress site in minutes. npm create emdash@latest blog.cloudflare.com/emdash-wordpre…

The more formal Forge Dev manifesto is now live on the site.
The apps were never separate from the reason for building them. They’re useful on their own, but they’re also how I prove the work, earn trust, and sustain a mission centered on alignment awareness.

@dr_cintas Real anti-lock-in here isn’t just no-code. It’s whether the artifacts stay portable: data, evals, weights, deployment path, and failure visibility. A lot of AI products say “you own it” when they really mean “you can configure our SaaS.”

Oumi just ended the "custom models are too hard" excuse 🤯
No code. No vendor lock-in. Full lifecycle automation to build and deploy custom AI models.
Data synthesis, training, evals, deployment. All in one pipeline.
You build it. You own it.
Manos Koukoumidis@Koukoumidis
🚨 The era of general-purpose AI is over. Today we're launching Oumi. 🚀 The platform that lets any team build custom AI models — in hours, not months. Just describe what you need. Oumi builds it. #VibeML Higher quality. Lower cost. Fully yours.

Frontier models are already doing long-running agentic work, helping build what comes next, and still aren't deeply understood.
That would already justify caution.
What worries me more is that the incentive stack still rewards deployment faster than assurance.
More formal manifesto on April 2.

→ March 10th: My first 100% human authentic formal manifesto, explaining my mission and approach in detail. → Weekly updates on the manifesto and vision. → Apps releasing and updating super frequently — hours, days, not months. → Soon I'll share more details on the apps I believe are truly revolutionary.

Hi, I'm posting here representing more of myself, ForgeDev, instead of ForgeMyPC, because this account would probably face a migration, for a more important matter. I made the ForgeDev Manifesto, and I would do a more formal one on March 10th. This is because there is a severe and almost certain risk of AI misalignment with human interest, and that is what made me build what I consider a Master Plan, as my effort for giving people a choice in this situation. We are late, but still can prevent it.
English

I know trust is earned, not asked for. That's why I'm releasing real products first. Try them. Give feedback. I have direct channels for it and I improve rapidly. In these early stages, there's a limited lifetime deal — because long-term it hurts me, but short-term it kickstarts the mission. You get rewarded for early trust.
English

These are the principles I'm committing to, publicly:
Everything open source or source-available when possible. If not, closed source but still free or fairly priced only for maintaining deployment and server costs.
No ads. Ever.
Subscription-based or donation-based only, so I can make decisions aligned with the mission, not with profit.
Direct community feedback channels, because this goal is only achieved with communication and understanding what people and humanity wants.
Maximum transparency and commitment on everything I can.
Lifetime subscriptions when possible. Monthly only for services with monthly infrastructure costs, and only to cover those costs.
English

I'm deploying more than 20 apps that I've already built. Some are revolutionary, some are useful everyday tools, but all are free or ridiculously fairly priced compared to competitors. The first one, ForgeProductivity, is already live. The second drops very soon. By March 31st, the full collection will be deployed.
English

Solo dev. Zero marketing budget. Just code and a belief that this community can do wonderful things.
Drop your feature requests, ideas, or feedback below. I will read every single reply—I want to build exactly what you think would be cool to have.
Even if PC building isn't your main topic, a repost puts this in front of someone it will genuinely help. Let's build this the right way.
English

So I built FPS-Tracker from scratch. Native Rust. Source-available. Fully anonymized. Zero bloat.
It generates the clean community data that doesn't exist yet. Every 1,000 submissions unlocks a teaser of the Main Project. 10 minutes of your time: forgemypc.app
