The idea that parents have to kick their children out at 18 is a new one and very American. Families for all of history lived close-by and worked together to survive. If your kids are contributing to the household and becoming better versions of themselves, then why kick them out? The world is cruel, and Americans more and more struggle to buy houses or even afford rent. Help your children

@0Beanie05923291 I'd like to know why the field of psychiatry has not cured on single mental illness. They've had over 100 years and trillions of dollars to do it. They seem to be creating more mental illness than anything.

Our society’s obsession with mental health hasn’t improved mental health in our society. I think there’s something to that.

My take on this different. Yes, humans need to contribute, absolutely. But for many people, they live in constant fear due to being in terrible jobs that don't align with their happiness and just barely cover the bills and God forbid their car breaks down or they need to go to the hospital. There's so much pain and resentment with the current system and living just to pay bills isn't living, it's slavery. Those that are lucky to have found good paying jobs that they love and that give them excess money don't understand how many people are truly miserable on this planet. With this new world, AI will handle so much labor that the cost of things will drop and people will for once be able to look forward to living without constant worry as they pursue truer and better passions. AI won't take every job, it'll give humans the means to create the life they desire and find ways to contribute that were not visible to them when they were suffering.

This is not going to work. It doesn't even make sense. It is also going to make people insane.
