Good evening, students of KNUST. The welfare and safety of every student remain my utmost priority as an aspirant and student leader. Yesterday’s heavy rainfall caused significant flooding along the busy Mecca and Agric Roads, with many students having to risk their safety to attend lectures. This situation highlights the need for proactive measures to protect students during adverse weather conditions. I would like to humbly appeal to University Management to consider temporarily shifting lectures online whenever severe flooding or other emergency situations make movement on campus unsafe. This will safeguard students while ensuring that academic activities continue uninterrupted. As students, our safety should never be compromised in the pursuit of education.
