This is a lie. Basij is a wing of the IRGC in Iran. IRGC as a whole, which controls Iran, only has around 120,000 members. Around 90,000 of them are also part of Basij. With Iran’s population at 90 million, that’s only 0.13% who are the Islamic Republic.
