This is the conundrum facing women's football in Scotland. Top of the table clash between @KilmarnockWFC & @SpartansFC women & lucky if 100 people there. The game was poor but you can't raise standards without investment. But that includes the fans. @FEAE_KilliePod

@Frazzle And his most used centre half should not be within a country mile of the squad, yet is still there despite only playing 1 game in 8. Which is kinda my issue with Clarke. Loyalty to players not good enough and a stubbornness beyond belief.

@ninjapotato10 I’m not sure that’s true, but even if it is they’re all in the same position. Clarkes most-used centre half plays for Hibs and his most-used striker plays for Charlton.

@Frazzle I do give him credit, but I also do not hold him on a pedestal as some messiah. Yeah problems up front, lacking at CB and GK a problem.... but we do have more players in current crop playing regularly in top 5 leagues in world than at anytime in past 30yrs - so yes, best group.

@ninjapotato10 Best group of players? He’s not had a proper good striker or centre half for his entire reign and our best goalie is a middle-aged man! We’ve got some good players of course but to not give Clarke any credit for where we are just shows a short memory.

@SteelmenNews @liamcasey86 I’ve said for years that I would allow a rule where a penalty is given and the attacker booked for diving- this would be one of those for me. Been saying it since we were denied a penalty at Easter Road because Richard Tait was fouled and also dived in the box at the same time.

It’s obviously not a penalty, but what I would say is when you watch the Braga one v Killie, it does feel like you need to be dramatic when you feel contact now
