oklahoman.com/story/news/cri… Today, Judge Stallings denied Tyesha Long a resentencing hearing under the Oklahoma Survivor’s Act, a law allowing for sentencing relief if DV was a major factor. Last month Tulsa County Judge Guten also denied April Wilkens’ request for early release.

The motion also alleges DA Kunzweiler is biased. Wilkens was convicted of killing her ex-boyfriend, but a judge denied her request on Sept. 4. Her attorneys are asking the judge to reconsider. April Wilkens served 27 years for the 1998 murder of Terry Carlton.

After the Halloween wedding of a Tulsa Co. prosecutor, attorneys for April Wilkens want the court to disqualify the DA's Office from her Survivor's Act case--alleging ADA Ashley Nix has "bragged" about buying the fmr home of Wilkens and held the wedding there for "creepy vibes."
