At what level of wealth do you stop driving yourself? Because Tiger Woods clearly hasn’t hit it. Make it make sense.

@HorrorGorl Yeah they can't afford groceries but got all day to moan and bitch online. Most people that "can't afford groceries" is because they are too lazy to get a job.

If you bought Disney stock 10 years ago, you would now… Be down 6.5%. The lost decade for Disney. Why do you think this happened?

A friend asked how I got so lucky landing a new show on a major network. I have interviewed thousands of people. Put out thousands of videos. Written over 1300 newsletters. Been consistent for 6 years. Show up daily, rain or snow. Luck has an interesting way of showing up.

The UK government wrote the tyrant law, forcing mandated ID to browse the web. Apple enforces it instantly and built the perfect cage. 35 million iPhones just turned into state-monitored devices overnight. You drop $1k on a piece of hardware, but you still need to hand over your ID and credit card just to open a web browser. Everyone is mad at the government. Fair enough. But look at the mechanism. When one mega-corp controls your OS, your App Store, and your browser engine, your $1,200 phone isn't yours. It's just a tracking device you rent from the state. Walled gardens are a trap. Centralized tech will always fold to state demands. A single software update is all it takes to hold your own phone hostage. "Privacy. That's iPhone." Right. Until the regulator asks nicely. Closed ecosystems are massive security risks. Open source and privacy tech aren't just cool cypherpunk ideals anymore. They are literal survival tools. This is exactly why we build permissionless systems. You don't own your tech unless you control the base layer. Build the exit. 🥷

🚨NEWS: UK iPhone users must now prove their age or lose full internet access "It is absolutely outrageous that, overnight, Apple has put a chokehold on Britons' freedom to search the internet, access information and use apps unless they provide sensitive ID documents. This means 35 million Brits who have paid hundreds or even thousands of pounds for Apple tech suddenly now have a child's device unless they comply with invasive demands for personal information that go far beyond what UK law requires. Apple has crossed the Rubicon with this software update which is more like ransomware, holding customers hostage to ID demands that are invasive, exclusionary and unnecessary. Children's online safety is vital but requires better parental controls and thoughtful tech responsibility - not sweeping, draconian, shock demands by foreign companies for all of our IDs and credit cards." - Silkie Carlo [@silkiecarlo]

Binance folded. OKX folded. Bitfinex didn't just keep $XMR, they dropped fees to zero to swallow all the refugee liquidity. They know the privacy premium is massive. It’s smart business. But don't get comfortable. A CEX is still a CEX. The real exit is permissionless infrastructure.
Bitfinex@bitfinex

Many exchanges have walked away from Monero. On Bitfinex, $XMR still trades with zero fees. Principled or just good policy, depending on how you look at it.
