I remember fondly being in Torquay in the mid 90's with my Cousin when a bus of Japanese tourists had arrived. I had never seen a Japanese person, we went up said hello, told them that giving someone the finger was the correct way to greet someone. Great times. Barely any immigrants and the ones that were here were mostly tourists taking photos then going home.
