Evening all, might be a bit late to get the word out but would anyone be up for up for a round of applause for the late Cliff Dean on the 67th minute (his age) at the Man City game on Sunday.

🗣️| London Broncos are deeply saddened to announce the passing of lifelong supporter Cliff Dean. His brother Richard has sent the club the following message;
“Cliff absolutely loved London Broncos and followed them near and far since the early days at Fulham, even including a trip to Australia to watch them in the World Club Challenge.
“Please pass on our thanks to David Hughes and everyone at the club who have looked out for Cliff and made him feel a valued fan.” Funeral details will be shared with supporters and Richard has asked for supporters to attend and to wear their favourite London Broncos shirt. His passing will be recognised with a tribute at the upcoming game against Widnes on the 31st.
RIP CLIFFIE 📖 | londonbroncosrl.com/lifelong-londo… #WeAreLondon🏉

Sorry to hear news that Cliff ‘Khazi’ Dean passed away today. Known by so many in SW6. Raised in Sands End, he always had time to have a chat, a real character at Craven Cottage, followed @FulhamFC & @LondonBroncosRL all around the globe. RIP Cliff, you will be missed

Sad news that John Dempsey has passed away aged 78. Starting his career @FulhamFC making over 150 appearances before making the short move to @ChelseaFC. He appeared over 160 times for the Blues, winning the 1970 FA Cup then scoring in the 1971 Cup Winners Cup Final victory

Sad to hear the news that Barry Lloyd has passed away aged 75. He started his career @ChelseaFC. He made 10 appearances before making the short move to @FulhamFC in a swap deal with John Dempsey. He appeared over 280 for the whites and was in the1975 FA Cup Final squad. RIP Barry

Joseph Lyons opened his first tea shop in 1894, which increased to around 200 in its heyday. Here is there SW6 tea shop at Walham Green Station. I’m not quite sure when it closed but Lyons & Co.tea shops started to decline in popularity in the 1960s

St John’ Church was built in 1828. The money came from a fund set up in celebration of the defeat of Napoleon at Waterloo.

@ProfoundYellow It was eventually demolished when the new ‘stone’ Putney Bridge was built in 1886 on a new straighter route. The old bridge ran into Fulham High St next to the Eight Bells.

Fulham Bridge was erected in 1729, the third bridge to cross the Thames after London & Richmond. Prior to the bridge being built a ferry was used to transport people across but this was an inconvenience to the Royal Family who used this route when hunting in Richmond Park.

@ProfoundYellow No, Putney Bridge was erected alongside the old aqueduct just along from Fulham Bridge. This photo from 1885 shows Putney Bridge under construction with Fulham Bridge to its right
