@BTCsessions @FullyNoded is pretty crappy from my experience. The settings don't make any sense, refuse to save. I haven't been able to get it to work properly with a local node clearnet or TOR. Feels very Beta. @bluewalletio and @covewallet blow it away.

There is a bug in Bitcoin Knots that doesn’t generate change addresses from the internal descriptor when using a descriptor wallet and bitcoin-cli walletcreatefundedpsbt which results in Fully Noded being unable to create a transaction that requires change. Core not affected.

@azaztrader01 Haven’t had time to properly look into it.
Users may get tripped up if they created a blank wallet with importdescriptors and utilize the same data directory for core and knots. Afaict.

When creating a taproot multisig or timelock in @FullyNoded it will strictly be script path spends only, the internal key is always a dummy no-one can sign for.

NOTICE: Wallet Migration bug present in Bitcoin Core wallet 30.0 & 30.1. Under rare circumstances, migrating a legacy (BDB) wallet can delete all wallet files on the same node. If those wallets aren’t backed up, this can result in a loss of funds. A fix will become available in Bitcoin Core 30.2. Until that is released, do not migrate legacy wallets using 30.0 or 30.1. Only the legacy wallet migration process is affected. All other uses are unaffected. You can continue using Bitcoin Core normally, including existing wallets and running a node without wallets.

Switching from Blockstream to Mempool api for the nodeless functionality in @FullyNoded as Mempool
supports signet and testnet4 in addition to mainnet and testnet3.

Just got @bitcoindevkit working with an onion endpoint to sync a wallets utxo and locally create and sign a psbt for the scenario where a user happens to be nodeless in @FullyNoded, so dope 🔥

PSA, the dinosaur Default Wallet in Bitcoin Core is being deprecated from Fully Noded in the next release.
It was deprecated in Core a while ago, have kept it in for backwards compatibility but its time to part ways. You will not be missed.

Currently revamping the “advanced” button in @FullyNoded, previously it simply activated the Bitcoin core wallet you tapped on. Now it checks if the wallet is a descriptor wallet, if it is it will prompt the user to select a wallet format based on which descriptors are in the Bitcoin Core wallet and it creates/syncs a Fully Noded wallet with the Core wallet so the user gets a seamless Fully Noded experience from their core wallet.
This means it will be way easier to seamlessly use/import a Core wallet into Fully Noded and retain the full rich feature set Fully Noded has to offer.

I really love the nodeless functionality Ive been adding to @FullyNoded. Have always wanted to build a wallet with this type of UI.
Best part is it’s incredibly simple and private by default.
Pretty much every other wallet out there uses someone else’s computer over the clearnet which shows your location, exactly which UTXOs you own and exactly when you use your wallet to strangers on the internet. A honey pot of data that should not be shared with strangers.
