Many here are always asking why young men are failing to express seemingly any form of male drive. Why don't young men work anymore? Travel, camp and hike anymore? Ask women out, marry or procreate anymore? These are pursuits aimed at an end that has been erased. A man's labor was once a tool for manifesting ownership. His drive was used to tame the earth, bring it under his control and take dominion. The wild lands once existed for men to conquer, not to merely hike in. The camps were settlements. The land was siezed and claimed through sweat and blood. There, man could build not just a home but his domain. The rich and poor man alike were rulers over their home, their wife and children. From the soil to the rooftop and all the souls between, man claimed ownership and authority. But the frontiers have been closed. The State has seized the land and regulated the building of homes. The marriage contract has been unilaterally altered to remove all degree of male authority. How can the sons of Adam take dominion when there is no domain left unclaimed by a greedy mass of bureaucrats who wrap their tentacles over every square inch of the globe, invading even bodies and minds? The male drive was installed in him for a purpose and that purpose has been crushed. Men know deep in their hearts that reciting manhood rituals will not bring it back. The drive has no end and so evaporates. For some with strong spirits, a form of simulated ownership can be covertly expressed. A facimile of archaic marriage and fatherhood can be carefully and quietly established by the men who are willing to defy the State. The question now for young men has become whether they possess the strength and will to defy the powers that be and wrestle dominion back for themselves. This is not a small endeavor.
