Sanctions relief will empower the Eritrean dictator to deepen repression at home, destabilize the Horn of Africa and the Red Sea, fuel Iran’s regional expansion and undermine U.S. and its allies interest.

The Eritrean Dictator is Iran’s Man in the Red Sea — Contrary to What Senior Trump Official Believes according to the Wall Street Journal.
The Eritrean dictator is Iran’s reliable ally in the Horn of Africa and the Red Sea. Close friend of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, a Holocaust denier, who said Israel should be “wiped off the map”.
The dictator helped Iran bring the Houthis to power, is the only non-Muslim dictator who backed Iran’s nuclear program, provided Iran’s spy ship access to Eritrean territorial waters, has remained silent on Houthi attacks on Israel-related ships inside Eritrean sovereign waters, detained an Azerbaijani ship and its crew on behalf of Iran, and is now helping Iran restore the Muslim Brotherhood in Sudan to power—turning Sudan into another Iranian proxy, potentially worse than the Houthis in Yemen.
It takes deep delusion within the American administration to expect that this dictator will become pro-American after years of hostility toward the United States and its allies.
The U.S. should not only lift the sanctions but impose secondary sanctions on Chinese mining companies that are the dictator’s lifeline.
He should be removed from power as soon as possible—for the sake of the Eritrean people, regional peace and stability, and America's interests.

Here is the evidence: Why did the Islamic regime in Iran allow a Pakistani ship to pass freely, yet attack, shoot at, and seize an Indian ship? This is a crime against international law. This is piracy disguised as policy. This is state terrorism at sea. God bless India. My beloved country, the UAE, has always rejected any attempt by the Islamic regime in Iran to control the Strait of Hormuz.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who served as president of Iran from 2005 until 2013 and was a close friend of the Eritrean dictator, was reportedly killed in an Israeli–U.S. airstrike. Since 2008, the Eritrean dictator has backed Iran, including supporting the rise of the Houthis in Yemen, hosting Iranian spy ships in Eritrean territorial waters, backing Iran’s nuclear program, and supporting the Muslim Brotherhood in Sudan in an effort to turn Sudan into another Iranian proxy—potentially even worse than Yemen. Ahmedineejad is gone, the Eritrean dictator is the next.

The “Greater Israel” narrative is spreading fast across media —simple, emotional, and dangerously misleading. My latest op-ed exposes it for what it is: a hoax—one of the most dangerous lies shaping today’s discourse: jns.org/opinion/the-gr…

Houthis launch a missile at Israel—signaling they will join if the war escalates. With Hormuz already closed, Tehran now holds another choke point: Bab el-Mandab. jpost.com/middle-east/ar…

How the Iran war exposed that Africa’s stance on Israel isn’t driven by strategic interest but by entrenched narratives and long‑standing perceptions. The full op‑ed: jns.org/opinion/the-ir…
