@BensBotanics2 With the act of the homeowner providing an unsafe ladder, they are failing in their duty of care. It's inescapable.

@GJChatten It is! I saw the gardener who came to prune it today who confirmed it. It is a beautiful specimen and produces very tasty fruit, apparently!

Planted up another wonderful old trough with 200 Tulip 'White Triumphator'. A pure white lily-flowered tulip that is full of grace and elegance.

@Dr_Walker @jackwallington Battery caged hens have been illegal in UK since 2012. Hens continue to be kept in 'enriched' cages however ☹ Our 10 girls roam free & lay the best eggs ever, as will these rescue girls, soon.

New friends. Three rescue battery hens to join our other two 🐓 They spent the first 18 months of their lives in less space than our box in conditions that do this. They’re then sent for slaughter when egg laying slows down slightly. Take a look at bhwt.org.uk

@BensBotanics2 @AnnHacke Negligence on the TO's part & should be called out. We've recently had TPO work carried out following professional survey. This wasn't without input from TO however, who scaled back some work & saw that certain trees which were to be felled be left as totems for wildlife value
