𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗗 𝗕𝗘 𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗗 ❌ The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) confirmed late Tuesday that the Tunisian National Anti-Doping Organization (ANAD) failed to fully implement the latest version of the code released in 2021 within its legal system. It added that Tunisia's Anti-Doping Org. had 21 days from the April 6 official notification to dispute WADA's allegations of non-compliance but did not do so. CAF has strict regulations in place to ensure that all players are subject to doping control procedures according to the rules established by CAF/FIFA and in accordance with WADA's worldwide code. Each member club has to sign a declaration in adherence to the doping control and failure to do so will mean that clubs/FA's will be sanctioned. It will have to be seen whether Esperance de Tunis will be sanctioned in its CAF Champions League competition. CAF are yet to release an official statement. Tunisia also faces a ban on flying its national flag at sporting events.
