I forgot how borderline game ruining these nightmare areas in Max Payne are. They take it from a game I love to a game I never want to play again. Genuinely awful.

@bullseye_qwerty Let's also be honest. There's nothing to be gained from hitting infinite. People are good getting to 90 for the gold as you said. I've had plenty of people tell me that in my stream.

If the average player is having more fun playing other modes than grinding Infinite that is a really positive outcome.
Conversely, if the climb is harder and people feel burned out from the LGTMs that is a negative experience.

As with any piece of data, you can interpret it in many different ways.
- Getting Infinite has gotten harder
- LGTMs leave less time to climb
- Some prefer the other game modes to the climb
- The achievement lessens in importance over time
- Etc.
It’s probably a mix of these.

@ManacasterBen @Memberthegame Contextually, I agree. It's not the backstory being the issue. Give us the story, absolutely. However, it's how terribly structured the gameplay of this section is. It's horrid and takes away from the overall experience. By the time you're done navigating it, you just don't care

you have to take it part-and-parcel. you dont get to be a murderhobo without feeling the backstory!

@AionSnaps Haha, no you're good. The only reason I didn't snap was I learned that a lot of players ranked in that top 50 tend to immediately retreat on those kind of snaps. But trust me, I was fighting my natural instinct to snap right there lmao. GG

Don’t overthink it. Stuff it in your favorite EOT deck. Play on T6… Jocasta/IWFS do the rest.
IMHO, playing early gives your opponent too much agency over where he goes.
*Although I’ve won a bunch of 8 cubers today as folks don’t yet know how he works.

Took longer than last season. Just a dull meta, Star Lord makes too much nonsense possible. Shout out to one of my tried and true favorite archetypes, Ongoing, for doing the heavy lifting. Stardust, we love you, that is all. And Cosmo, you're still the BEST dog!
