@Titus_kilonzo @Dr_AustinOmondi Had a kamba GF 🤣🤣 visited her parents in shags and it was wilderness in comparison to my lush green village overflowing with water in Siaya… drove with 20 liter water jerrycans for our use during visit and lots of shopping. They remain friends long after we broke up..

Do Kambas generally age slower than other Kenyans? I’m noticing a pattern of a Kamba looking 50 but being over 70.

Kikuyu dowry is being misrepresented a lot , it might be 700k but it's paid over a lifetime, pole pole , if you pay over 30 years it comes to just over 30k per year .

Two presidents. Same region. Completely different attitudes toward public money. President Samia Suluhu arrived in Russia aboard an Air Tanzania aircraft. President William Ruto, meanwhile, flew to South Africa on an expensive chartered private jet. Two East African presidents. Two very different choices. What's difficult to understand is why a costly charter was necessary when Kenya has a presidential jet and commercial options. In fact, a Kenya Airways flight to South Africa was departing around the same time. Why should taxpayers shoulder the extra cost? Another interesting development is that this is President Samia's first major trip since her re-election, and she chose Russia. Given Tanzania's rising fuel and fertilizer costs, many will be watching closely to see whether energy, trade, or agricultural cooperation is high on the agenda. What do you think: is the use of chartered jets by Ruto justified? Someone on TV47 yesterday said, sometimes leaders who grew up in poverty tend to be this greedy.

@gietzschean Should be turned into libraries and tech Centres. President can sleep In a hotel when out of official residence,. Cheaper than maintaining useless state lodges that he visits once a year or never.. wastage of public funds

A State Lodge is an official government residence used by the President when travelling away from the main presidential residence in the capital. As of June 2, Kenya has at least 12 state lodges spread across the culturally diverse Kenyan landscape. The newest addition is the Wajir State Lodge, located in the North Eastern part of the country, near the Kenya-Somalia border. The largest ethnic community in Wajir is the Somali people and as a result, the new architectural masterpiece in the area is a fusion of traditional Somali-Islamic elements and modern contemporary design.

@baroswahjr Why is a kid who is living in Nairobi with parents who own a mansion and enjoy extreme luxury go To a board in school in Nairobi? Neglect of parental responsibility is the problem in kenya.. easy to push them to prison like boarding schools than parent..

Siaya Governor James Orengo has launched the “Pata Dama” initiative, a project aimed at improving the livelihoods of Siaya residents by distributing cows. Under the programme, a group of 200 people is given one cow. Once the cow calves, the offspring is passed on to the next member, and the cycle continues until every person in the group receives their own cow. Using simple mathematics, it would take approximately 37 years for each member to get a cow. It would have been far more practical to give each person three chickens or mango trees instead. What happens if the cow consistently gives birth to male calves? Would the group then have to wait up to 200 years for a female calf to continue the chain? Another challenge is that every member wants to take the cow home immediately. In Kenya, such initiatives often come with far too many complications.
