But the difference in this art from what I can see at least, is that this post was specifically talking about masc trans women. I do think that Transfem with facial hair deserve respect and representation too imo. But I understand your point.

Facial hair is associated with manhood, so artists depict trans women with facial hair to signify inherent maleness. In reality, hair removal is the first step many of us take to address our dysphoria.

@GaleAndPeter @Qwarz_Atarz i have never met a single trans woman in my life that likes her facial hair, regardless of masc/femme presentation. Yet I see a load of art, not by us, that loves to give it to us. It's an ideal of GNC that seems to be exclusively put upon us rather than embraced by us.
