My recommendations:
Bring back the hand mechanic, it starts every dead ball on the field, except the face-off. Level the playing field.
No more motorcycle. Only alternating grip, it’s how the game is played.
No more knee down to start, the game is played on two feet.

5. Hand signal levels the playing field rather than adjusting rules, equipment, whistle cadences, blah blah blah. Let the warriors battle and if Chong Li wants to throw powder in Frank Dux’s eyes, the ref can call that.

3. The timing of a visual signal allows for more accuracy and less guessing which leads to less violations.
4. A visual signal allows for more accountability for the referees and the players on the sideline.

@FlowGo37 @LaxCulturedaily my two cents on the face-off hand mechanic:
1. @NLL operates with this mechanic to signal to the time keepers bench to start the game, period, etc.
2. Both players have equal opportunity to view the referee over either shoulder during a 4 qtr game.
