What would cause a patient to present with focal eversion weakness, peroneus weakness, tertius weakness, extensor dL weakness but intact 5/5 anterior tib? Sensation abnormal to 1st webspace with pt noting slow onset lateral ankle numbness and instability in heels Head scratcher

After 10yrs in rural health, I’ve pretty much learned to expect anything & everything to walk through the door. As much as I’m used to seeing a little bit of everything; today was one of those days that made me sit quietly in my truck & go: “What the fuck was that schedule?!”

@NickHoopes_ Completely agree, talk is talk unless you put in the time to help change the way things are. I help in a local pro bono clinic and to see the thankfulness and joy in the faces of those we see to help them return to their lives is priceless!

Something that’s become increasingly frustrating is the amount of people who love to “talk the talk” about serving underserved populations but no one wants to “walk the walk” I have bad news. The community health fairs & mobile free clinics aren’t working. It’s getting worse.
