Ive heard this take a lot and while I get it. There's absolutely no way this moves the needle enough to actually damage the environment. Theres like 4 gazillion rocks. Even if me and 100 other people on a trail stack some rocks it displaces less than the trail itself. This is just ragebait at this point, theres no way playing with rocks damages an ecosystem to any degree beyond a rounding error
